がる/がっている（Ｎ４）

 

meaning: to show signs of; to appear; to feel, want; want to do (3rd person)

 

NOTE: This grammar point basically turns adjectives into U-verbs ending with る, so the tense can change based on the verb conjugation like the following.

がる	long form	がります/がりました

 Meaning: someone tends to; has a tendency to; has a sensitivity to~.
