 Meaning: just finished; something

 Meaning:

ところ

1.      Place　（e.x. きれいな所(ところ)/寒(さむ)い所(ところ)　etc.）

2.       just about to;

 

たところ

1.      Just did/finished doing,

2.      When doing X, it turned out to be Y/ found out Y

 

ているところ

1.      Meaning: in the process of

 

ところで

      1.           by the way~.

      2.          even if~.

 

ところが

1.      even so; however; even

Meaning: to begin to; to start to; to burst into; … out (e.g. to jump out, to carry out)​.

Verb stem	+だす	雨(あめ)が急(きゅう)に降(ふ)り出(だ)した。	It suddenly started raining.
