Year
The suffix “ねん“ is used to describe year, but not for age. Also, when saying the
date in Japanese, the order is year, month, and day.
Example:
1.
ことしは2020(にせんにじゅう) ねんです (This year is 2020)
2.
2020 ねん 9がつ 11にち (September 11, 2020)
Let’s see time chart I mentioned it on the last page, As you can see the below again, the "Number Word" for hour is" ~じ" and for minute is "~ふん or ぷん. The exception is that when indicating 30 minutes, はん is more often used than さんじゅっぷん。
Example:6じはん(6:30).
Most Japanese people use numbers from 1 to
12 when talking about time. When we want to make it more clearly if it is
morning or afternoon, we often use the phrase "あさの 8ji" to add (あさの)
morning ~, (ひるの)noon ~(よるの) night ~.
Also, time is sometimes expressed as 1 to
24, such as 18:00 (18じ).
